Well today was a lil better than the rest of the week i suppose..
this calls for documentation of course!
1st off..my old classmates organized this lil Gift Exchange. Each person has to buy a gift,between $5-$10..and get it wrapped.after that,the gift is given a number. Then,each person took turns to draw numbers from a box and received the gift corresponding to that number,but has to redraw if he gets his own gift. The present i bought was a box of chocolates(and sad to say..about half the class bought chocolates of one brand or another..haha)..and i received a pink mug(yes i know..it's pink [T_T]..but i gotta be thankful..cos it's the thought that counts,and also cos i didn't get chocolate =D)...i also kinda missed a lecture cos everybody took too long to get to the meeting place..haha..but it was time well spent with the people i've gotten to know for a whole semester. I was expecting more stuff to happen...like a weird awkward speechless scenario,but it didn't happen..guess the person chickened out at the last moment to splurge a gut out.
2nd,i actually started talking to somebody in my class..the class rep haha..well..it's an improvement over my current standings rite? lol..at least i know one person in the class now =D
On another note,i didn't go down to Orchard to take the pics cos i heard from frens that it isn't that nice...but i have a feeling the decorations this year is to be enjoyed by a couple taking a nice stroll down the busy place after work hours (to avoid the noise and throngs of crowd)
oh and..before i end this,one last silly note..
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to everybody and anybody who celebrates (personally,don't celebrate myself but i relish in the thought of people sharing unanimous good feelings for one another =)
So,enjoy the day(s) of happiness,and don't get too drunk..it's only a weekend =D
