french is funny..hehe...
today in french class,i learnt that "eau" meant water..cos the teacher was explaining different types of perfume. he only mentioned perfume and eau de perfume..so i told my friends "what's eau de toilette then? toilet water"
friends were skeptical thinking that it didn't existed...but the moment my teacher mentioned,my section was laughing so loud and the teacher was puzzled =P
but it turns out "toilette" meant "make up"..and that the english borrowed the french word for toilet,and french vice versa(they use W.C,pronounced vay-say)...funky people,these french..oh well..hehe..
off to browse the net for info..damn golf shit project..blah!
