woo..been lazy again lol..
i got my timetable! oh man it's nutty...monday is 12-9.30 pm,and tuesday off..the other days look ok..but so sian to get a break right in the middle of the week when u start to get into the mood of leaving the house lol..
anyways...last week on wednesday went back to school for our first official SIT club meeting after the orientation. we were assigned posts etc for the upcoming events. after they announced the events,they suddenly said one of the events was canceled. so this year,there is no gamescape. instead,there is Xtreme adventure, Voice out,Bands out and Phat nite(or nyte,i dunno). as u can guess,i got put into voice out lol.and u know what's the worst thing...i got assigned as ninja again! (start the beeping sounds cos of censoring) damn man..everybody got new jobs but i got the same shit again..kinda pissed but i figured that i'd just work with what i got. our team seems pretty good anyway ;)
the only person we haven't seen is praveen who's the ASM...lol,the joke is going round saying he's busy selling prata XD
then on thursday...helped out at the ELP where MIT OGL's were stationed to help freshies who wanted to print their timetables. but it was actually me running off from duties and chatting with angela and pei jin,wahahaha. anyways,we did this thing where we made a card for each member of MI0505,with a quote and a signature.lol..i admit,we aren't that power with our english..we stole em from websites lol..ok ok..i know,but nice to see something like that right..right?!
then friday...very few people came for the meetings..and Voice out had the highest attendance..cheer people,cheer! lol...we discussed a bunch of stuff and got some work done. we also agreed to meet at jessica's(PM) house on saturday to get stuff done. thankfully we have mervyn as usher,cos he's experienced in proposal writing haha.
on saturday...i left the house at 12.30 and headed for tanah merah mrt..wow damn,1 hour train ride,*snore*...reason was cos i was supposed to attend this church wedding thing of some cousin i've never seen in my entire life. blah. anyway,my uncle and aunt picked me up from the station and headed to the church..the thing began at 2.30 pm and i can say that was the most boring 2 hours ever. almost never recognize a single person except for some relatives i see occasionaly. after that my uncle and aunt dropped me off at tanah merah,and...i took the MRT all the way to, WOODLANDS! OMFG,1.5 hours..i am *never* gonna do that again T_T
plus with the laptop in my bag,it hurts...zzz standing the whole way too. anyway reached there and saw that patricia,li xuan,bobby,mervyn,daniel and sandy was there. did i mention that i took the bus in the wrong direction and sandy had to come look for me? lol,not bad leh, got a cute girl come to get me..ahaha..never been so lucky before lol. anyway,bring laptop so far,they also never use lol. end up just going around giving suggestions and helping with minor things...and after that ended up playing games on someone's laptop wahahah. at about 7+,a headache started..thought it wouldn't be much,but by the time i was on the train home(10+) i was fucking pale. i think pat was really scared by my skin tone lol. i had to get off at yishun to go puke.blah...i was so weak i had to take a cab back.got home and puked more. i dunno what happened..don't usually have a headache that painful before. they never escalate that fast.took a pill and knocked out.
sunday's matter will not be mentioned,cos it's boring haha.if u read this far,give urself a pat(only 1!!!) on the back for reading a senseless post LoL.

p.s - Voice Out is gonna be as nice as we can get it to be!limited seats..book early lol!!

ahhh...went to sentosa for OGL/Seniors outing yesterday :)
but only updating blog today cos.....i was lazy and got side tracked all over lol
anyway..we were told to meet at harbour front MRT at 10 am...and while on the train at Dhoby Ghaut,met leon,raymond and laode
anyway...after reaching harbour front..we searched around and found stanley while walking...and since we were early,we told stanley to wait there and call raymond if people come. we were headed to a place nearby to drink and eat. drink and eat and crap a bit...and eventually went back cos never hear anything. went back and found out that a few people went to mac already..and got there and heard the news..the meeting time changed to 11!!
and nobody told us =(
so sad..
anyway..crapped around at mac and eventually decided to go first..
reached there and found a spot after a lot of arguing..and some people started heading to the sea..a few people were tossed into the water,and eventually i was tossed in too lol..my belt was spoilt tho cos val was impatient(no need to aplogise,no hard feelings there),and i got tossed in..hehe..
while there,we played frisbee in the water,monkey with a volleyball,some volleyball. we also buried andrew in the sand lol..
the craziest thing we did was a plan that bryan cooked up. we planned to bury jas..and then we also told jas that we were digging to bury ivan and wanted his help. after helping for a while he recommended that we asked ivan to help.his idea was to tell ivan that we were digging for calvin. at that exact moment bryan and me started laughing our heads off..a whole bunch of lies complicating things up..in the end it worked out and we buried jas..hehe..although we had to get people to lift him and put him in...
all in all..enjoyed it...but i shall never play beach soccer against ash ever again!my foot is aching now lol..from cuts etc and from stopping the ball..also,sunburn quite bad...worst part is that my sun burn is even on my face..so can't do face expressions well now ahahaaha..so crappy..

orientation arrived...nervous as i was..i was also excited. i was assigned to MI0505 together with Angela and Felicia.
on the first day...it was rather uneventful..until we got to the tutorial room where they were supposed to meet their Personal Mentor(PEM).took the opportunity to select a timeline dancer and a participant for the 90 seconds of fame...realised that they weren't gonna volunteer so i had to pull out all the stops and make them sabo each other lol...eventually 2 people were sent for the 90 seconds thing and a dancer was selected..the dancer..not gonna say his name here cos he deserves some privacy even though he just ran off like a lil pussy just cos he doesn't wanna dance...we settled that with a replacement dancer and she did well :)
all in all..first and second day was a day of bonding..although i admit i wasn't around a lot because i voluntarily ran around doing things for MIT..Angela and Felicia are probably closer to some of them but that didn't stop them from recognizing me as one of their OGL's..kinda touching.. =P
on the third day..i was doing my official backstage thing as a ninja,meaning ever since 9.30..i wasn't with my class...imho,Angela and Felicia did very well taking care of the class theirselves without me around to help.the only time i managed to interact with some people was during the lunch time break when Kim (the dancer) with Yan Ling and Poh Ling(her 2 helpers that helped her get dressed for the dance) was hanging in the audi area...managed to chat a lil with them before heading off. because of time constraints..we actually headed into the actual event without a trial run. admittedly..i was nervous just like everybody...but somehow,the thought of entertaining nearly 1000 people just raised my emotions..i was high as a plane for the entire event...unbelievably,i was so energetic from morning all the way till after we finished all the debrief and etc at 10 pm.
how the event went..u wanna know? here it is :)
morning we started setting up all the props and markings on the stage..moved props and finalized prop movements and duty. hardest bit was the flying durian that was used in the skit..it proved to the prop that required the most effort. after the set up...we were briefed by seniors SK,Alex and Nusara. and then...at around 3..the first cue was given,freshmen starting streaming into the auditorium. nervously..hafidza,sharon,yan kai(sorry..i think i spell this name wrong lol),jia xin,jian min and me waited backstage..when mervyn and benita walked out to start their emceeing duties..the crowd roared. everybody backstage jumped and everybody's emotion soared off the chart. it moved on and on...and when Kim was introduced on the stage..i was so happy when i heard loud cheers unlike some contestants who unfortunately didn't get that many cheers.everytime we heard cheering..everybody backstage went ecstatic.
all in all,the freshies enjoyed the entire show...they even mistook me for jing yi,the main actor of the OGL skit...
to all MIT OGls : it's been great working and hanging out with all of u.yvonne said it herself...this is the best team..period. if ever we have a chance to work again,i would relish it. we made it through the proposal and trial run periods,and we made it through the main event almost flawlessly...we did it,MIT..we did it..it's now time to relax for a few days.
to Angela and Felicia : great job taking care of the class while i was running around trying to get things done.
to all the Excos : thanks for all the help. i know that u had to scold us all non stop or else we would be too lazy to work. without u, we coudln't have done a single thing. especially vincent,sharon,halif,christina and wendy, MIT excos...u guys were really kind through out the entire thing unlikes the other seniors who made the respective diplomas run paces.
to Finale : all those stayovers and no-sleep nights paid off! now go sleep!! can't say anybody is more important than anybody,regardless of post and rank in the team. gotta salute stage manager kia fang though,tough gurl..went through the finale while she was sick. kah yip,give my side more work next time and don't be too hero and take all the mic work lol
and finally.. to MI0505 : all the suan-ing..it was ok..i knew and understood u were joking lol...i'm that way.i admit i was being a huge arse myself..i had to find a way to make u guys laugh..otherwise it would have been too boring. really appreciated the support u guys showed by showing up on the final day. u guys made it all worth while. hope u guys will remain as bonded as u guys were during the orientation. nothing makes a class greater than the bond they have between each other. Approach angela,felicia and me anytime in school,online or by phone..we'll be there to help u if ever we can!
and now i contemplate whether this high feeling can be achieved again...

i should sort out my links some day..they look so messy..but i can't be bothered. maybe some other time when i'm bored and really have nothing to do. the day i do that..i'm gonna be rambling about something and create a really long post. meh..brain is in self-decomposing mode. not gonna say much bout the orientation planning. rifts here and there. some dimwits around too. but what can i say, they exist everywhere...there has to be balance. sometimes i wish i could tilt the scales though.

it's mother's day but i'm sticking myself in singapore to slack off my weekend and then work for finale/MIT during the weekdays. and tomorrow is my mom's bday.

i got A for IAD and french,which i didn't have much confidence in..and B+ for discrete maths and DE which i was sure of getting an A

damn it..really got beat by yi xian this time, he got 5 Distinctions and 1 A
my GPA is 3.359,and yi xian got 3.99..man..ass got whooped like a dog crossing a highway -_-"
anyway...trial run going on..never knew things could be this hectic. although admittedly i know 85% of the things that happen during trial run will not happen during the real thing.
being a ninja for the finale ain't easy...damn it..wonder how's it gonna go for the rehearsals the whole of next week >.<
