bbq rocked. haha
after being picked up...we headed to east coast park(ecp). after reaching there we unpacked. laode,huang and me stayed back while shuqin and andy went to parkway parade to get some other stuff we left to buy at the last moment. i rented a bike overnight..8 bucks..haha.worth it. without the bike,walking to the damn toilet would have been a pain.also went off to buy ice and collect the satay after that.
started the fire at around 7 plus..and shuqin/andy weren't back yet lol. they left around 2 hours ago? haha...they got lost trying to get out of ecp to reach parkway parade.they eventually got back anyway.
cooking officially began at around 8+ cos we didn't have the wire mesh before that. so we cooked and chat and ate..i ate later than the others...always do it that way at bbqs..dunno why lol..but i was basically eating throughout the entire night with an hour or 2 for break in between each snacking times..so it was like 3 meals between 9pm and 3~4am. we played taidee as usual...around 100+ rounds? hahaha...
yeah it was a fun night..till around 5 am.lightning started. took it as a bad sign so started packing up.
while we packing up, we realised that teresa,jennifer,derrick and andy weren't back from the toilet yet...and they were gone for about half an hour.got worried and called,no reply. so we just started packing. while we were untieing the hammocks that shuqin brought,the wind picked up...it was like..no wind to storm condition winds within 5 minutes. how strong was the wind? kailin was wearing roller blades. while standing in that wind she was pushed around. that's how strong it was..haha.
so we packed up as soon as we could...moved all our stuff to the nearest shelter. when we were almost done they came back. so we decided to get everything and head off to mcdonalds. just as we reached it started raining really heavily...spent the morning from around 6 till 7+ at mac...after that we left and waited for the bike shop to open to return our bikes. then we all left
all of us took cabs..haha..before u say we're rich. we all shared depending on directions. jennifer,derrick,ben in one...huang and me in one..and the rest in another. we were the only 2 in the same area haha...
got back around 8.30,ko-ed and woke up around 4.30...and here i am now..hungry
no food =(
gotta wait till dinner time..blergh
overall it was bloody fun..i admit running around in storm-like winds was actually fun haha..although u get a bit worried whether u can survive the night in one piece till u reach a covered shelter area..haha...
